Toronto Saturday Photo Classes for Kids
NEW! SATURDAY PHOTO WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS AT BACKLANE STUDIOS
Saturdays: Oct. 14-Dec. 2, 10 a.m.-12:30 pm (8 sessions)
Our Saturday program is designed to teach students the photographic techniques needed to create compelling images. Each session we will explore the fundamentals of photography such as perspective, composition, and lighting as well as different and inspiring visual themes that will help them grow their photographic and visual thinking skills. We’ll also explore the history of photography, the work of iconic photographers and learn how to ‘read a photograph’ through observation and discussion of photographs depicting current events. At the end of this program students will receive a fine-art printed photo booklet of their favorite 10 images, as well as curate and mount a photo studio exhibit for their family and friends on the last session date where they will be presented with a certificate of program completion to take home.
