Free Photography Workshop for Kids Ages 9-13, Scarborough, ON
For SA KIDS, our head instructor Diana Nazareth has designed a super-fun, hands-on program where participants will go on photo scavenger hunts, find faces in places, make photo-action flipbooks, create friendship triptychs, learn about composition, vantage points, elements of design, scale and perspective, and so much more in this photo-activity packed program! Digital cameras are provided for use during program hours.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Diana Nazareth is a photographer, certified teaching artist, and founder of Project Kids & Cameras. She is passionate about empowering youth to find their voice through photography. Her photography programs are informed by an extensive study of key progressive teaching methods such as Literacy Through Photography, PhotoVoice, and Visual Thinking Strategies. She has designed, facilitated, and coordinated photography workshops for over a thousand students of all ages. Her programs are now implemented in a variety of learning environments across the GTA, such as in schools, community art centres, libraries, and during photowalks, summer workshops, and PA Days.
